Weather Wednesday: woolly faces and faraway places

I have a delightful little lot of photos from Pony Club last weekend that I want to share… before it becomes next weekend and gymkhana time already! But seeing how today is WEDNESDAY (it is in Australia anyway) when I normally call on readers to report their WEATHER from around the world, I am taking the chance to segue …
from weather to ponies
with this amazing creature
ponyclub_0049
…spotted at the showgrounds carting a happy little jillaroo
around the jumps and barrels with the utmost confidence….

This pony never once hesitated or stumbled or pulled …
Always willing and responsive and smiling
(yes, those ears are smiling ears!)

What a happy, woolly little face…
I think I may have just fallen in Pony Love!
WHERE is the segue (I hear you complain)…
It’s here:
WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 9
Current temp at Granite Glen: 11 degrees Celsius (kitchen)
Conditions: Southerly winds (brrrr)
Minimum: 6 degrees (4 degrees below average for this time of year)
Maximum predicted: 28 degrees C (waiting, waiting, waiting)
And yes, I am wearing my hot pink ugh boots and Mr Incredible’s shabby blue flanny coat AND avoiding the outside jobs for as long as possible…
And yes, if I had that pony nearby,
I’d be cuddling right up to it’s fuzzy little face!
..
Late edition: completely forgot to report that we had RAIN here at Granite Glen during the week – two falls tallying 39mm (about 1 1/2 inches old money). Amazing, fabulous, renewing rain… am hoping to show pics of some green grass sometime soon!!!
Enough about me… your turn… weather reports please!

11 degrees at 11am?! In September, in Queensland? WTF?!!

Nice sunny day down here on the mid-north coast of NSW. Forecast max 22, but it's not quite hit 20 yet. It was cool in the early hours though – only 7 degrees. But I was tucked up in bed.

I should go and enjoy the beach again, shouldn't I?

    [Verrrrry cute pony, btw!]

After a gorgeous (cough cough cough) bike ride this morning, I can say the day is pretty much perfect here – hardly a cloud, light breeze, bright sunshine – Paradise!

    21 degrees and beautiful.

(Unlike 5am yesterday, when we had a mini-cyclone, thunderstorm, hail and driving rain – which cleared by the time V had to go to work at 7)

South Dakota is smack dab in the middle of summer and fall, warm (not hot) days, cool evenings.

The farmers are talking about harvest in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping I can send our rain your way BB, I REALLY need to get the roofer over here and get my roof done. We've had nothing but rain all summer. I'd give anything to send you some!

Wonderful Washougal Washington USA, for Wednesday it is forecasted 72/52 and clear to cloudy, chance of a shower late. Humidity 62%.
Supposed to get up to 85-90 by the end of the week! Dog days of summer here! Leaves are falling, had to get the blower out to clean off the patio today.

SE Idaho USA First frost warning. Betting against the odds that my tomato plants won't get hit. It's too blinkin' early to cover the plants.

    saskatoon sk canada:
Tonight (technically it's now wednesday morning):
A few clouds. Wind west 20 km/h becoming light near midnight. Low 6.

    Wednesday
Sunny. Increasing cloudiness in the afternoon. High 22. UV index 5 or moderate.

    Wednesday night
Clearing near midnight. Low plus 5.

we're finally getting fall temperatures. though technically not fall, this is usually around the time the leaves start turning colour. they are. soon they'll drop from the trees within a few days of starting and they'll all be bald for the winter snows to come…if we get any this year.

What an adorable wooly pony! I've never seen anything like it! Cute! Today in Michigan they are predicting a cloudy morning leading to partly sunny this afternoon with a high temp of 78 with a bit of humidity. Tonight's low is going to be 59F. We had a good downpour yesterday for our first 1/2 day of school but at least we managed to get the kiddies outside for a brief recess!! You can definitely feel Fall in the air though. When the sun is out it's just not as intense.

We're getting a quiet autumn rain here this morning, the stuff of cool season crops–lettuce, spinach, broccoli, and peas. The air conditioning is off more than it's on and the windows are open nearly all the time now.

It's 20C and sunny here in Montreal. Heading up to the lake for One Last Hurrah this weekend. The leaves are just starting to turn colour.

    Where did summer go?

    Love the little wooly pony!

Hmmm…. having a virtual holiday (for a few minutes at least) in Maine, Washington, South Dakota and maybe Montreal. It's SMOKIN' here at Granite Glen – at least all our neighbours are (the grass-burnin' not the cigarette variety!!). Slightly warmer today…
    🙂

Northern Ontario, Canada, too damned hot! It's fall! Supposed to be sweatery and all. It's like bloody summer! At least summer was like fall.

Oh, the fluffy pony! I wanted to reach into my monitor and pet him, then push my face in and nuzzle him!! He's almost as cute as Axel! OK, down to business – it's getting warmer again here in Onawa, Iowa. Right now at noon EDT it's 77 F, clear skies, sunny. It doesn't seem that warm because I have a lovely breeze coming across the soybean fields opposite my apt.

Clear and sunny with a high of 75 and a low of 45. I need to put the top back on teh jeep! I freeze in teh morning. Perfect fall weather 🙂

And i LOVE that pony! What breed is it? I've never seen one like that before. So darn cute.

Greetings to one and all in that mighty name of "Jesus". Each Christian of whom know him in the power of His resurrection…or, maybe I should say…those who are well acquainted with the fact, that He truly did come back from the dead…also appeared to his disciples.

Thomas was invited by Jesus to feel the nail prints within His hands. So, those who also have been convinced by only having His spirit to convince them, having never had the opportunity to feel the nail prints in his hands, as did Thomas: Jesus said blessed are those who have seen and then believed, but greater are the blessings that rest upon those who have never seen, but still believe.

I am a full time writer and an ordained minister. I have written three books so far. My first book: Reviving the dead church, by reminiscing the day of Pentecost. The second one is: Beyond the Golden Sunset and by the Crystal Sea. My third book: Off to visit the Prophet Elijah, on this one, the contract to publish has been completed and soon the book will be published.
    Warm regards
