Poll for horns of my dilemma

Just a note tonight to point you to a little widget I have popped into the sidebar (see how I say that like I KNOW what I am doing?).

While I know I have lots more visitors at this blog site than the old one, it’s not being reflected in the number of comments (not that quantity over quality matters to me, but I do miss some of you guys!).

I suspect that part of the problem is that the comments section is not being easy to get on with here.  My blog man Conor is working to fix the comments section so it actually REMEMBERS my guests when they come back – and we need to know if it’s working for you or not?

I know some people are being remembered (a good sign) but are you?

I’m leaving the poll in the sidebar rather than this post, so it doesn’t get lost… just scroll down at the right to click your experience into the Yes/No option.weather_0112
And the reason for the photo?  It’s a polled cow. No horns.

Get it. Horns… Dilemma… Poll.

Oh dear… Good night!

Yes, my information is filled in each box as soon as I type the first letter.
Stupid question time–are the polled cattle natural (don’t come with horns), or do you ‘poll’ them as calves?

Greetings from Idaho U.S.A. Read all the time, comment when I have time. Keep on bloggin! Had to put in my info today but usually it is there waiting.

My info is NOT remembered at your site (nor does it come up when I start typing). There are other blogs I visit on WP that do remember me, so I don’t think it’s just me.

Good way to have us leave some comments:-) No sorry mine didn’t fill in automatically and your “comment Love” thingy seems to have disappeared to. Quite liked that to see what others are chatting about but can’t find a way to make it work on my blogger blog.

Eek – “nusually” (to borrow ‘Salina’s word) it autofills for me when I start typing and it didn’t even do that today…

Edited to add – fancy schmancy ability to edit comments. Kew.

    ETA – Kewl.

Just autofill for me too, no remembering like other WP blogs. Still, that’s a heck of a lot easier than commenting on blogger blogs for me – most of the time lately they pretend they can’t verify my open source id. (And then finally they do…)

I’m not really sure what to put for the poll. The autofill is sort of in-between!!!

Yes, the comment luv thingy has disappeared! I liked that! I was starting to try to visit your visitors using that!

NOTE – I think Conor might have removed comment luv in case it was messin’ with the cookies that allow my blog to remember you guys… (jump in any time to correct me here Conor)… if it’s not the culprit, it’ll be back up lickety-split!!

THanks for taking the time to let me know your experience – I really am trying to get this thing to remember my regulars. It’s one thing I hate when I go elsewhere to comment – hopefully we’ll make some progress on it soon.

In the meantime, thanks for hangin’ in there, y’all. (And I shall now stop talking Texan and droppin’ mah g’s.)
    🙂

My browser will auto fill something if I’ve used it before. I.e. When I start commenting here, all fields are blank, but as soon as I enter the first letter, it gives me my options, I select one and off I go. But YOUR site doesn’t remember me (sniff).
Early dementia in a website is such a terrible thing to see.

I have to click to have it remember me, which is unusual for a WP blog which is usually auto. But a click is easy. No drama.

    Comment luv hates me.

My biggest problem with your new look is that your newest post is often hard to find as it scrolls through your posts by itself, I have to wait for the new one to come back. (Is that something I can fix?)
