A little something I saw on the way home…
It was a long day yesterday – swimming carnival in one town, car repairs in another, visiting the Mother briefly, then home from the 200km round trip.
Gosh, its lucky I like driving, isn’t it?
I realise its been ages since I posted a World Weather Watch… that thought was just flitting through the echoing expanses of my mind when I spotted some great cloud formations on the way home. I somehow managed to coax TWO MORE shots out of an almost-dead camera battery to get these…
Cloud-and-sun pics.
Or as I like to call them:
Halleluja photos.
We’d like some follow-through from Hughie (i.e. rain) soon, but cannot complain as our views are still green and our cattle shiny and happy… outlook is for ‘possible showers’. It actually says:
‘90% chance of a possible shower’.
Seriously, that is the most wishy-washy forecast ever? Almost certainly, possibly…
Put some money on it, Weather People! Climb OFF that forecast fence. (Like that is gonna happen…)
How is it looking your end??
♥

It’s been cool and frosty, but today – in the valley of the great Ohio River = 68F.

We are cool (68*F) with a 20% of rain today.
Anymore, I just wish they’d say….”It’ll probably rain today” or “There’s a snowballs chance in ____ that it will rain today.”
I love your halleluja shots. We call them ‘heaven’ clouds.

Good name for those photos! Streamers of light coming down from the heavens. Glad that battery held on for you. I recently won second (I was robbed) place in a local photo contest for a shot of a sunrise thru a passing shower (bragging posted earlier).
As for weather–SNOW. Good for skiing. Bad for driving. BUT YOUR CALENDAR BROUGHT SUNSHINE FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD!! Sorry about the yelling but it was so welcome and SO fine. I hope you sell out and have to re-publish. I love my BB calendar!!

Love those pics! My family calls those Angel Rays, so beautiful.
It’s very cold here and snowing. But weird snow. I call it sun-snow. It happens a lot in Utah. It’s bright and sunny…but snowing. No clue why.

Hey BB!
We have 50F/10C here in South Dakota — it is a sunny day – but it looks like snow tomorrow. :{ Tis the season!

Sounds downright Christmassy… from afar anyway!

Okay. One of your readers can probably set me straight here, but I believe that those rays are referred to, in Spanish as “The Fingers of God” or “Los Dedos de Dios”. I like the Hallelujah moment though. That works. Was there a great epiphany to go with this?
