1 of my favourite – items
This plastic tub.
Commandeered by my husband back then.
To paddle through snake-infested waters (his description, I was too chicken to even look) to rescue the dingy.
Then used in the (motor-less) dingy – as a hand-held windcatching device – to sail up river to our house.
The mental image of that still stops me in my tracks. LORD I wish I had been there (with camera) to document that journey.
Funny AS…
Of course, it meant he could show me this…
So I guess that I shouldn’t laugh out loud.
My romantic husband.

Gosh. You did not need the links! The picture of Mr I setting out in a plastic tub to rescue a dinghy and then using the tub as a sail to get back to shore…the mental pictures were a testimony to Oz ingenuity.
