Short and sweet this afternoon…
Regulars will know that my daughter Violet adores horses.
And in particular, she adores Sandy, her Palomino.
I snapped off a couple of shots as she snuggled him at the back gate yesterday morning, before she went for a ride with her Dad. (Probably her favourite thing in the world to do).
Dimples and a horse – lethal combination.
Mum I just love him soooooo MUCH!

I recently re-read 3 books, the Mary O’Hara series trilogy. First books ever given to me by my godmother, 1944/45/46, via a memory jog from a blog from Canada. (I only view 8 blogs in all).
Seems that young Violet is a female reincarnation of Ken McLaughlin of the Wyoming trilogy, “My Friend Flicka” etc.
Yeah, Violet, just love that “Sandy, her Palomino.”
The sheer beauty in her smile will hold me for months, BB, thank you for sharing that love with us.

I love the pics. Growing up I always wanted a horse and asked for one at every birthday. Never happened but I could dream. Violet sure loves that horse.
