Equine options: POLL #2

Alrighty then… all warmed up after the Cattle Poll?

(If you are a cow person, you might get the bad pun in that title: cows with no horns are called polled cattle. Get it? Yeah.)

So if your voting fingers are warmed up I”ll add the next poll for your selecting pleasure. (SO much more fun than election voting – PLUS no queuing!).

I know many of you are horse lovers, so I won’t be cruel and keep you hanging…

Here are the choices for the 2014 BB of Oz Bush Calendar in the Horses category:

CAMPDRAFT HOOVES – A shot take at a camdraft in May – I love the horseshoes, the dust, the flying grass, the almost-in-time hoof position of horse and heifer and the clear silhouette of the spur.

NUZZLE MUZZLE  – I love the monotone version of this shot, taken while Dash was leading Pickles for a friend’s child, who was visiting in July. Pickles is a snugglepot, and his little master was happy to oblige.

SNOOZE SILHOUETTE – often referred to as the ‘unicorn’ shot’, this was taken of the wonderful Pickles as he snoozed under an ironbark out the front of our house.

FOGGY MARES – A very wintery shot taken early one morning as our pregnany mares grazed beyond an almost-bare Liquid Amber.  Love that when you stand back, the horses pop out more from this image.

HOT PURSUIT – taken during a ‘Challenge’ competition in June this one ticks lots of boxes for me – shining coats, flying hooves, light (unseen) hands, denim and dust…

SANDY LASHES – snapped just last week, the colours in this image popped right from the original shot.  Violet’s much-adored horse with his ginger horse lashes – who could resist?
