Nine!
Today is a pretty special day. Nine years ago, at 8am, a bundle of dimples and joy arrived into our lives.
Violet – my baby – is nine.
I cannot believe it. She is growing up so fast – the Wiggles have long made way for One Direction and the colour and design of one’s mud boots is much more vital that it once was.
…but one thing remains steadfast throughout. This girl is a COWGIRL. She adores horses… she breathes horses. And since our little filly arrived a week ago, let’s just say, it’s been like Christmas for our Violet!
And yesterday she got to watch one of her local hero(ine)s showcase her training skills. Breanna is only 15 (I think) but already beginning her journey to emulate the great Guy McLean.
Violet DID NOT BLINK during Breanna’s routine with her little 3-year-old buckskin gelding on our school’s Break Up Day.
I will have more on Breanna in a later post, but today I just really wanted to say…
We love you more than words can say, little Cowgirl. And we can’t wait to see what you do with your dreams…
