Morning glory

I had a day trip to Rocky yesterday, to pick up our bull sale catalogue (always tempting to call them ‘cattle-logs’) and get them into the mail. As this means over six hours on the road, I had to leave early.

Those who know me, know I am NOT a natural early bird. I tend to be a bit of a night owl and I do love my sleep – especially those hours between 4-7am!

But yesterday’s 5.30am start was well worth the pain…

And even though I was on a bit of a schedule (with my notorious ‘to do’ checklist weighing on my mind) … I did stop three time (for about a minute each place) to grab these snaps.

Loving the layers ‘folding’ into each other…
Silhouettes and landmarks…
Looking north from our red dirt road…
Layers….
Cattle grazing on stubble with fog descending from the hills behind.

Fog and sunrises… totally worth sharing.

Glorious.
