Horses

Eye of the (equine) beholder

This is Admiral.

He is gorgeous.
He’s a chestnut Australian Stock Horse stallion.
He’s handsome and gentle and can turn on a pin.
He also has lovely dark eyes.
And you know me – I can’t simply hold a horse for someone when they are doing a job. I have to take photos. Photos of whatever is around me – even ones of me taking photos…
Can you see?

That better?
(Love that crop tool!)

I’m leaning through some portable steel panels – and I think I look quite slim in the reflection… hmmm… Just confirms what I have always felt:
Horses (and their reflective eyes) are definitely good for the soul!

ha ha – well, I have always said that hugging a horse was the best thing for your soul, but here you add a bit of technology and woo-hoo – not only for the soul BUT the skinny spirit!

Big dark eyes are one of the first things I look at when buying a horse. The bigger the eye, normally, the “calmer” the horse. I love a big dark eye. I love that second shot with the reflection!! Great picture!!

Oh, BB, you always seem to make me feel better about myself. I love eyes. Except for pig eyes. I don’t know why, but pig eyes bother me. I like cows and horses and dogs. Most of the time you are looking directly into peaceable souls. Nobody here understands that sort of thinking, making me feel like some sort of oddball.
