Here you go then… the full wheel!I reckon these things are incredible – harnessing nature for the good of man (and beast) to pump water from deep beneath our feet (and hooves) to waiting tanks and troughs. We have about a dozen of these things at Granite Glen, providing essential water to our stock. The design hasn’t changed much in the last five or six decades. It’s practical design that also appeals to my whimsical, arty-farty side…

I can’t believe that I missed this comp. Windmills are one of my favourite things. We took a couple of days off – just me and the kids, hubby is still mopping up after the fires. We needed the break and you went and did a comp – I’m devastated!
