I am cold and I am brain-dead after attempting to teach a class of 4-12 year olds how to use Photo Elements at Dash’s tiny one-teacher school. I have made the startling discovery that I am not a teacher. Please remind me of this if I ever have a grand idea that I can share my limited knowledge with the world at large.

Anyhoo, enough of my whinging. What I really wanted to do was extend my laziness to new horizons, and get my readers to help me out with a little pic-story I have whacked together.

It features two of my favourite subjects:
Axel the 4-month-old gangly, eager-beaver Great Dane puppy, and
Rob Roy the cranky 6-year-old chronically overweight Shetland pony.
They have absolutely no clue what to make of each other and it entertains me endlessly…

Ya know, Axel will be bigger than that pony, before you know it! I just love that dog! Oops, I mean puppy! I am not good with captions, but I will try to think of something!

Axel looks so confused. Here is a critter that almost looks like it could be a pal. The same but so different in so many ways. Will they find friendship? Will Axel outgrow RR? Stay tuned for the rest of the story.
Know what you mean about being a teacher. Trying to focus a herd of young minds is a great challenge.

back…yes, I thought of "Are You My Mother" too. BUT I forgot to ask about–the Aussie planting a blow-up kangaroo on the moon before the Yanks put up their flag. I found the band Kangaroo Moon and loved their work, but no more info in this point in history. More please?

5th Frame: Mr. Wonka, I am a Great Dane and know everything about geography.
Willy Wonka: Oh, well, then you know all about it and what a terrible country it is. Nothing but desolate wastes and fierce beasts. And the poor little Oompa Loompas were so small and helpless, they would get gobbled up right and left. A Wangdoodle would eat ten of them for breakfast and think nothing of it. And so, I said, "Come and live with me in peace and safety, away from all the Wangdoodles, and Hornswogglers, and Snozzwangers, and rotten, Vermicious Knids."

Just to clarify. Willy Wonka is you BB and Rob Roy is the Oompa Loompa. His name is even close to the guy who played the oompa loompas in the new version (Deep Roy) and he is the same color. Just FYI 🙂
