Enough of me already!
A quick note to say I have changed my blog header image (above)
from this:
and instead I give you:
Roos and Emus…
a Bush Babe version of the Aussie coat of arms if you like.
…
…
The previous one had only been up a few days but I simply could not bear looking at my freaky psuedo-serious face anymore!
I rather like being behind the lense, not in front of it
(and behind it at the same time, if you look closely – pic taken via the car mirror).
…
Thoughts people?
And ideas for next header?

I kinda liked the one with your photo in it. The new Aussie one is good too though. No ideas for new ones. Wish I had the time and patience to figure out this whole header thing…would love to change mine.
Good luck with it!

I did like the other one – I liked the quote. (I may have to steal it!). Always like your headers. You could have a monthly one! (Like Dooce does.)

(PS. I also meant to say that I liked getting a bit of a snapshot peak of BushBabe herself!)

I hadn't noticed the header with you in it. I like it, though. You have nice eyes, and the expression (and probably the fact that it's in black and white) reminds me of something from an old movie with one of those glamorous stars from the 40s.

We can see hoppers in lots of places, but there is only one place to SEE BUSH BABE. Have a fun day, Have a fun day!
Kelly
Well, I like both! I missed coming here to see the one with you in it. Obviously not up for very many days….
I've had the same header the entire time I've had my current blog. It was taken at our pond and I really like it.
No suggestions from me for future headers. I enjoy seeing what you come up with on your own.
theProvidentWoman
I like the new heading.
Pony Girl
You're so cute! I loved them both! The new one is great, too. I always like it when you have some cowboys or horsies in your headers, would you expect any less of me? 😉 Have a great week!
Elizabeth from the Gold Coast
I too, liked your photo in the header but I must say you have done a stirling job of the "Bush Babe Coat of Arms".
Mom L
I did like the one with your photo – great shot! But, as a Yank, I'm partial to seeing the Roos and Emus that do NOT wander through my neighborhood!!!
Nancy, now in Iowa with the corn
Bush Babe
Thanks for the feedback guys… its funny with Americans all wanting our freaky wildlife and Aussies a little bit: Yar, so what? Heh.
Elizabeth – gosh, thanks love!
Anonymous… anonymous? As my friend Rhubarb Whine said when organising to meet me for the first (and so far ONLY) time: Are you the one with the black-and-white face tipped on one side? Well yes, yes I am.
Jenni – the cheque is in the mail!! (still blushing!)
Mom L – nice to see you out in the corn! A photo of that required (know a photographer??)
PG – Geez, you're a gem – honesly, no-one has called me cute for decades!!
The Provident Woman – welcome. And thanks!
Kelly – yeah, you gotta be quick. I need to slow down on the posting, eh?
Trace – I am so much more disappointing in the flesh (ask Rhubarb!) – and you will be seeing more of that quote in headers to come!
SuzeinOz – would you like a tutorial in how to do them??
🙂
