Da Winner(s)!

Right then – Dash and Violet have patiently listened to each of your stories about the Mystery Thing on my finger.

The debate has been long and arduous – pros and cons for each entry.  We have on our hands a DEAD HEAT.  I couldn’t split them on this decision.

The WINNERS are:

Elizabeth – if only I could draw or paint, I would be quite swept away with your darling fantasy of Bush Baby ‘baby’ wings.  Gorgeous.  The kids’ eyes lit up with your description (as did many other commenters I suspect!).

Jeanie – the ‘Ice Queen’ splinter really captured the kids’ imaginations (was it Snow Queen with the ice shards, or the Ice Maiden you meant there Jeanie?).  We now have to find that story in their fairy tale books for tonight (from what I recall The Snow Queen was a bit confronting – I may skip pages!).

You both get the image of your choice from anywhere on the blog (although Jeanie pretty much gets that anyway, regardless of whether she wins my contests or not!).  Email me ladies with your choices.

Thanks to all so much for playing and entertaining me (Sarah and Jayne you did make me laugh out loud) through the trauma of my busted front page!  For those interested, it was caused by my web host deciding to get strict about something called a ‘mod_security rule’ where ‘http://’ is used anywhere in an address link.  Anyway, it’s fixed (for now) so all is good.
