Zoomin’ and snoozin’
Had to share this little moment from the Goodwill Games on Saturday…
This is Edwin. My cousin’s gorgeous son. He’s two years old.
Here he is competing in the ‘sprint’ race for little ‘uns.
(Those are my cousin’s long lean legs as she jogs beside him in encouragement.)
He ran, he threw, he jumped. All day long.
And at the end of the day, he won a medal for his efforts…
Too bad he was too snookered to stay awake for the ceremony.
Bless his little cotton socks.

Hilarious – your families certainly have the competitive spirit. Should be quite a great kid in years to come.

Those little flushed cheeks. Gorgeous. This brings back so many memories of sports days with my boys.

Oh, my gosh. I just get so tickled by that: bless his little cotton socks. The first time I heard it, I laughed out loud, and I don’t know why I love that expression so much.

Happy day and good night for the little guy. Your cousin certainly does have nice legs. I love the hats worn in some photos; I am a hat aficionado too and you, Bush Babe, showcase some of the best in the world.

I cannot believe no one has commented on the hunk holding the adorable socked one in the second picture. Both are too cute but I’ll take the older one please!

LOL – my cousin’s hubs will be chuffed. (And I am waiting for her to comment now!)
