Bush Bloggers begins
The rumours are correct: I AM trying to attack a mountain of Spring Cleaning (while my family is away snow skiing on a school camp).
(See all my twitter claims of cleaning action if you don’t believe me!)
That’s right. I get to clean soot off things …
While they play in the snow…
I am not sure I thought this through very well.
And while I have been SLAVING away, I admit to taking a LITTLE time out*, to track down some Bush Bloggers – those recording their spin on life in the Australian countryside – for you (as promised here).
Some I have known for a little while, some I have only discovered over the last 24 hours. I know there are probably many more lurking out there as yet undiscovered (by me anyway). I have made a special new page up the top of this blog for BB’s Bush Bloggers and have links and short descriptions up for those included already.
First on my list is BUSHBELLES – hosted by the lovely Julia who coincidentally ran an interview/interrogation with me recently here. I love the positive nature of this blog – the sharing of local events and business, and the very feminine sections like the Country Street Style section which encourage us to indulge our girly side. Of course you can find fun interviews and links to award opportunities and all KINDS of great things. The deal-breaker is totally the cowgirl boots on the sidebar. Love me some cowgirl boots!
If you know of someone who deserves a spot here (perhaps it’s you?) then please contact me with a link.
Happy Reading!
🙂
*Okay. I also admit I had one of these on the drive home from the Big Smoke.
That’s right.
I STOPPED on the trip.
And DID COFFEE.
Unheard of…
