Bottoms Up Poll
I realise its been a bit blue-hued around here lately. That’s life in the bush, I’m afraid. An emotional rollercoaster.
In an attempt to spark things up a bit, I am posting up a choice of three quotes for the Bottoms Up Bee (a clear favourite for a calendar page).
Do you think I should go serious or funny?
First philosopher Thoreau:
‘That man is the richest whose pleasures are the cheapest.’
I actually thought this was quite cute and apt. Makes you think.
Then there was deadpan comedian Steven Wright:
‘You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?’
Cause this little bee needs some saddlebags to get the motherload home, no?
And finally, the ever-witty Oscar Wilde:
I can resist everything except temptation.
And this so ‘me’ it’s scary. And funny.
What say you?

I think the Wilde quote is the most appropriate.

I adore photos of bees. And a purple flower really shows him up. Just lovely.

Please, no worries about posting “blue” thoughts. If you have animals, you are likely to become blue once in a great while—if you’re a caring person. I believe you are a caring person. 🙂

I really love the Thoreau quote…but the Oscar Wilde one is hilarious, love him. It’s just perfect for the photo….which, btw, is also perfect!
