Note from the Coast
Goooooood MORNING world. It is I, BB. Up at 5.30am. As a renown night owl, this news will come as a terrible shock to most of my family – not the least Dash (our resident early bird) who wandered sleepily out to help himself to the PlayStation at 6am and almost had a heart attack when I said GOOD MORNING brightly!
I think he may have even said: WHAT are YOU doing up?
After a couple of necessary early starts (3am and 5am) the previous two mornings, apparently I have wrecked my body clock and on the ONE day I could seriously sleep in, I am wide awake and rearing to… blog. Heh.
As you may be aware, we are away from Granite Glen at present, spending a few days at Hervey Bay. We love Hervey Bay – the place we stay at here isn’t flash and new, but its position is perfect. It’s right on the beach so Mr Incredible and the kids can scoot off and fish to their 2011 content when the mood strikes. I am NOT so much a fisher person (politically correct term I believe) as a take-photos-of-the-fishing person. But you knew that, right?
And while I have just mastered the art of downloading images onto the ipad (thanks mostly to a device my husband procured yesterday) I have not discovered any photo processing software (shocking) on it, so you get just a pic or two today. (The size of my original files are pretty horrendous). I have even put a WordPress app on the ipad this morning – so all of my technically oriented brains cells are exhausted.
Let’s see how I went…
Yeah. No control over the order of images, and no fixing at all, but they’ll do for today.
Anyway, time to pack up the gear from our unit, send hubs and kids to the waterpark while I get the Christmas groceries through the checkout…
See you when I get back to my much-missed PC, where I might blog about:
1. How to achieve BOKEH (the BB way)
2. Our CHRISTMAS PHOTOS (and the chaos behind them) this year
3. Update on Horseradish and Bay Leaf, the pair of cheeky poddy calves inhabiting our pool yard.
YOUR CHOICE… which would you like most to hear about?
🙂

BB – I think the “poddy” update and just what your pool yard now looks like. I should think heaps of fertiliser for the vegie gardens!!
Hope you have great beach weather, so far summer has stayed away from Brisbane – but I know it will come with a vengeance!
Merry Christmas

Poddies. Definitely.

Ah well – back again.
Seems “Bay Leaf” and “Horseradish” win by the length of the Flemington straight!
I think end of voting – don’t forget to show the “presents” ( poddy pads ) that you will be moving to vegie gardens – ha ha.

Number one on my list would be the poddies. 🙂
