Sunlight and mooning
It was a non-relaxing weekend here at Granite Glen. Lots of riding, getting this year’s weaners out of muddy yards and into their new homes/paddocks.
The kids actually had a ball despite their studied sternness here – modelling their drizabones which came in VERY handy on our wet weekend. I will share some images of our newest bovine beauties soon, but first I will show you what I took photos of early yesterday afternoon, upon arriving home from a few hours riding.
The sunlight – so absent from our very damp weekend – was hitting our Liquid Amber just so…
And I thought, you know I BET you guys would like to experience this Autumn Light Dance too.
So here you go…
Pretty pretty, eh?
Over and out from the chick with the sore thighs/butt/calves/knees.

Oh PS… there was a lunar eclipse too. Yes, alright. Despite it being chilly, and despite The Voice being on telly (go Diana!) I nipped outside to take a snap.
Here you go…

Loved the pictures and someday will own my very own drizabone (don’t laugh. It is a goal). Anyhow, BB, do you notice that there is a face in your banner right above the word of? I’ve been trying to see how that worked out on the calendar photo and can’t but it’s cracking me up over here.

Happy Autumn-it’s my undisputed favorite time of year and I get two autumns every year–yours & mine…

Your photos are exquisite and so much fun to see …. autumn leaves when it is green spring here in TX. And the “Drizabones” word is highly entertaining to a Texan that knows those cowboy raincoats are called “Slickers.” You caused me to smile … love it.
