Winners!
Loved hearing your ‘hot’ stories in my fire tips giveaway last post… if you have a great yarn please feel free to still pop back and leave it in comments.
I have drawn the winners (with two commenters selected by my dear friend, Random.org!)….
1) Comment 6 – Judith!
2) Comment 3 – Leenie!
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, ladies. I will email you with notification and to get your postal addresses to send your goodies bag to you.
In fire-related news, it was so terrible hearing about Tasmania’s Dunalley losing 100 homes and devestating the town. I still cannot believe Tassie can have such high temps – record-breaking and heart-breaking for those hit by the fires… also thinking of those in Victoria and NSW dealing with dozens of bushfires as I type this.
Today is overcast and cooler here at Granite Glen – I pray it stays this way for the week ahead, with our jackaroos and jillaroos due in today and setting up for our scheduled branding.
Wherever you are, stay cool and safe (or warm and safe if you are in that other hemisphere!).
🙂

Woo HOO! Thanks BB! Love your blog. One of the best ones in the bloggy sphere. Always a pleasure to visit here.
So sorry to hear about the dry and the heat hitting your part of the world. We saw lots of that here in Idaho just a few months ago. Still dusting away the ashes from all the smokey summer months

May thanks BB! Yes I too hope it cools down a bit (in Oz) – 40 + days are not good, particularly when your 80+ mother-in-law suffers through them without the air conditioner on because she can’t reach it the dial on it in her unit. She mentions it in passing a couple of days later … Hubby will be quick to equip her with a new one with a remote control that can be held at any level I’m sure!

Oh I have been thinking of you and all that heat and those fires. I have a friend in Tasmania and I know how bad it is. Good luck with the birthing and branding. Keep safe. B

Ro’s Dunnolly is in Victoria, this Dunalley is in Tasmania – adjacent states, but it has hit my mind every time I hear the news too, Deb.
