Giveaway…
I feel the urge to celebrate this week… For many reasons.
Despite kinds of traumas often associated with living in the bush and caring for animals, bushies are by nature a postive lot. It ALMOST rained properly yesterday. That made me (and many others) optimistic and happy.
Despite grieving his darling steed Pickles, our son is trying out a new horse and keen to go riding this weekend. That makes me smile.
The calendar* tweaks are done, and the OK has been sent for the printers to get busy. That makes me RELIEVED and happy.
And the number of you taking precious time to read this blog, and visit my accompanying Facebook page is growing by the day – having so many wonderful visitors to the virtual windows into my world makes me happy.
And I thought… how can I celebrate?
And I realised I had a beautiful canvas (originally printed for my exhibition) – all packed up and just waiting for a special home.
The Wedgetail and the Ironbark.
So I am giving it away… simple as that.
All you need to do is leave a comment below (about how you found my blog or my Facebook page) for one entry.
You can get an additional entry by heading to this Facebook post, commenting, sharing and ‘liking’ the BB of Oz page.
A shout out on Twitter, with a link to here or the FB page gets you another entry (please mention @BushBabeofOz to help me find it).
I will draw the winner (randomly) on Sunday at 9pm.
Good luck!

I found you completely by accident. I’ve recently started blogging and was looking for others to see how it’s done. In particular rural blogs. We have problems others don’t get.
Thanks for inspiring me.

I love your photos bush babe would love heaps of calendars for Xmas and reckon we should work out a way to get your photos on the rural website. What sort of camera do you use, thinking of upgrading, but technology is nothing compared to the artist behind the lens

Great to see this blog! I found you as a result of watching Ch 7 Qld weekender. As I’ve been a blogger myself for a number I’ve years (covering a daily weather and beach report on the Gold Coast), I am always on the lookout for others and excited to find a country blog! I have a daily ritual where after I do my own, I check the guys in Bondi and Manly ( both in Sydney). I now have another, looks great!! Cheers Phil

Now, mind you, I am not commenting with an eye toward winning! As much as I love your photos (just packed up 2 of them for the move), I’m donating stuff as fast as I can so I’ll be ready to move to Savannah, Georgia when Diane gets here on Nov. 10th.
I just HAD to say that when I saw you were giving away a wedgie, all I could think of is how we AVOID getting wedgies! Of course, maybe that horror is known only in the states…???
Bad Nancy!

Hi, Wow I can’t even remember how I found your blog, maybe you found mine or it could have been through Sharon over at The Quiet Life who I think found me and then I may have stalked her followers. Something like that. Anyway you do a great job here in blog land. I love seeing your photos, they inspire me to keep on taking shots and trying to see things in a different way. You deserve to celebrate. As to the rain YAY! May more come your way.
