A year-full!
I have been hammering away here, finalising the look of the 2015 BB of Oz Calendar.
Thanks so much for your invaluable input in the polls this year (and over at the Facebook page too). As always it’s been tricky, trying to get the balance right with images – action, flora, fauna, cows, kids, and colour.
And then chasing down a quote to go with each image.
You’ve no idea my collection of quotes… I love finding JUST the right one for every month. It takes ages.
But I think I have finally got it.
Ready to see?
May I present the 2015 edition main monthly image pages….
And the secondary images (sitting on the date page for each month)…
And, last but by no means least, check out the bonus new-look back page – my secret innovation. I’ve spent a little while designing it – t’s a little something that I thought so many of my readers might use…
A RAINFALL (or snowfall) CHART!
You will simply be able to lift the bottom pages of the calendar up to record your rainfall throughout the year. Of course, if you’re not a rainfall-recorder, it doesn’t matter as you won’t see it! Win-win.
It will be printed (as always) at very high quality on heavy paper (which won’t curl) and wire-bound to sit perfectly flat on the wall.
They will once again retail at $20 (postage additional). And $2 from each calendar will go to charity – this year I have designated HeartKids and Angel Flight ($1 each for each calendar sold).
And just because it was one of the most popular images, and I loved it too, I am turning the ‘unfurling bottlebrush photo’ into a Christmas card this year…
I am still waiting on prices, but will do 5-packs of these (plain inside for your own message) and printed on heavy card also.

Very beautiful – I get to see some of the work you put into this, so so nice to get to the “end” of the process, surely?

Amanda; the calendar is so beautiful, can’t wait to get mine. I’ll treasure this as it also has my wee little Dexter in there. The rain also tops off the week with that “yahoo” feeling. What a year it has been for you, great times ahead.
