One pretty perfect day…
Today was one of those days…
Dash is home – we have seen him three consecutive weekends now and are LOVING this extra time. Boarding school parents will know what I mean.
We took ourselves off to the Eidsvold Show – it’s SHOW season in this corner of rural Australia which means a little show almost every weekend for a couple of months.
Lots of lovely horse stuff to soak in…
Leaping horses…
Hacking horses…
Really, really pretty horses…
There were bovines and winning grins…
Babies to meet and snuggle and ‘mother hen’ over…
And then, heading home to enjoy a Sunday afternoon by the river with our two…
Dash is SUCH a fisherman…
Violet doesn’t mind it – but mostly cause she gets to share it with her big brother.
He caught five fish. She caught one. She was happy with that.
Some fabulous fleeting sunset magic…
And, to top it off, this fabulous decaf coffee made by my darling girl.
A sweet end to a gentle, lovely day.
Hope you had one of those too?
🙂

You’ve had a lovely weekend! All the photos are wonderful, but I especially like those fishing images. What a great way to pass the time!

I can say I’ve had one of those weekends (make that weeks), just at the other end of the scale. It certainly won’t go down in history.
What a beautiful weekend you had and that sunset is divine. How lucky to get the extra time with both your at cherubs home.
