The little rider
Violet is trialling a new steed…
His name is Creamy. Or Sandy. Or The Palomino. Depending on the mood of the would-be owner…
She’s only tiny, and he’s a big boy, but she loves him.
We are trying to reserve judgement to see how she handles him in a few different situations…
but I get that feeling that she has already decided.

That is a really great pic, I think her face tells the story of a happy little girl.

Yup, I think Violet is ready for the big girl horse. Dont know if mom is tho. 🙂 He looks a lot like my American Cream/Quarter horse . Good boy.

yep, looks like a keeper! I know how you feel, the horse is so big and she’s so little. Mercy’s doing the same thing to me. But ya know, they’ve got it handled! Mine says “Get out of the way, Mom” ugh..

That horse is gorgeous. Violet knows how to pick them! She looks very competent and assured. I always get a little tug in my heart when I see a palomino as they were my grandfather’s favorite. Please more photos of these pair!

Your beautiful Violet on a beautiful horse! She looks perfectly suited to him – she sits so proud and straight, but looks comfortable in the saddle. Hey, I’m not a rider – it’s been many years since I’ve been on a horse, but I think she looks perfect!!!

Forgot to mention – they actually had snow this morning (just a little) in Savannah, GA! Diane sent a picture of little Henry trying to catch a snowflake on his tongue!!!

That’s a great shot, BB. The last time I got on a horse was when I was about 16, and trying to impress a girl; needless to say, Scotty went one way and the horse went the other and the only impression I made was to have the girl in fits of laughter. Hehe.
Oh, and btw – check out May in your new calendar and see if you can spot the error…
