Weather Wednesday – late and hot

wwsky_0164
It’s hot.
Damned hot.
Hot and sweaty.
And I am late.
Can’t sleep.
It’s darned late and I am late.
(Lee from NJ got sick of waiting for this post and left a forecast in the last post!)
wwsky_0163
It’s hot and still and dry.
Which is fine if your pool is full
(ours is finally, but with dark brown water)
wwsky_0162
but not if your air con has busted (ours has).
Forecast is for clouds, more almost 40 degrees Celsius
and a promise of less than 1mm.
I’d cheer, but it’s hardly worth the effort.
And you?
Do share…

Well, we finally have NO RAIN. It is amazing. I actually see sun from my office window. Again, amazing.

I hope, hope, hope, I can get my roof done this week. This may be my last chance before next spring.

Temp is about 50 F — no wind. lovely.

Last night, it snowed lightly. Today it is 35 (1.6, for you.) I'm still raking leaves. It is cool, dark, dampish. It is not raining, though, and that is a plus.

South Arkansas is finally seeing sunshine after two months of rain (and three tornados in my county alone last week!). Unofficial, I know, but we registered more than 20 inches of rain in both Sept. and Oct. at our house (closer to 25 in Oct.).

Our low was in the 40s last night, due to hit the low to mid 70s today. Nice!!

Soon you will have your pool. Get many fans going and sit beside one! Think of all us other folks, freezing our buttocks off!. LOL

Eastern Washington state here – today it is a sunny 46 F (8 C). However, tomorrow it might snow. I'm ready to head to Bush Babe's part of the world for next 6 months!

From Alaska (the banana belt) High 34F low 30F,40% chance of rain/snow showers. At least the straight line 70 mph winds have stopped.

Overcast with slight drizzle early hours of the AM here, just enough to coax the snails and slugs out to play for the newly hatched magpies and possums to snaffle 'em for a snack 😉

It's only about 21 degrees here today, after a much warmer day yesterday (in which I got my shoulders burnt by not putting sunscreen on. You'd think I'd have learnt by now wouldn't you.) Grey and overcast. The BOM observations say 'drizzle' in town, but nothing here so far.

It's been very fall-like here in Michigan lately. These last few days it's been cool, in the high 40's, low 50's, but at least the sun has been shining. The forecasters are predicting sunny and in the 60's for the weekend! WooHoo!! I so enjoy reading about summer, even if it is halfway around the world! Enjoy it!

Send some of that heat this way, LOL! Actually, this morning it was chilly, even a bit of frost on the roof of my workplace, but this afternoon at recess I had to peel off my jacket, it was so nice! 🙂

Wednesday in Oklahoma… 74 degrees F. and beautiful blue skies. 62 F. at night. We are in the midst of what we call Indian Summer. That time that is mild and beautiful after a cold front rolled through dumping cold rain… now we will have about a week or so of beautiful weather before the fall cold weather starts to settle in.
