The newest star
A new baby arrived here at Granite Glen a week or so ago…
A baby girl.
A baby girl horse.
A baby girl Australian Stock Horse.
With slightly bendy legs.
And a voracious appetite.
Her Mama Holly has been very generous about sharing her darling bub with curious visitors…
Dash’s mate Mada was among the hordes flocking to inspect this delicate newcomer.
Dash and Mada just couldn’t get over her exquisite features.
Her soft fur, her endless legs, her funny little rump….
Her constant suckling…
Dash darned near climbed under there with her.
Nothing cuter than a milk moustache.

She’s beautiful – and apparently not skittish at all with the human attention. Way to go, Holly!
What a beautiful little girl!! Love the big brown eyes. Holly looks like a sweet gentle mama. Thanks for introducing us to this little beauty!
Blessings!

I agree with Sara! That first picture is a must for the 2012 calendar!! The pictures are all gorgeous, but I just love her little baby girl horse mane in that first one.
You need some good news after the floods, cyclone and wildfires you have been through in your country lately. What better news than new life. She is a beauty.
