Stalking Sandy
I am not sure if there is anything in this world…
quite as intriguing or beguiling…
as the lines of a horse’s head.
‘Specially when backlit, and all blonde highlights and palomino tones…
The ears, the eyes, the muzzle… the whiskers, the fuzz, the fur.
Of course, then they start walking away from you mid-admire,
and then finally stopping suddenly
and getting all snappy:
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, DUDE?
See, his lips are moving and everything!
(He get the attitude – and ability to find the right angle – from his little mistress, Miss Violet).

I agree with you one hundred percent. Horses are the perfect animal–the just right mix of wild and tame, strong and gentle, fast and slow. I know, each one is different, but they are made so perfectly when it comes to lines and shapes and, usually, temperament.
Get them with a low angle back light and they are worth following around with a camera, even if there is some attitude.
