Summer snap – snoozin’

Our pigeon pair… of bovine orphans.

Bay Leaf and Horseradish.

PODDY_6592

Snoozing in the sunshine, in the Poddy Paradise that is our poolyard.

After being rudely evicted for yesterday’s Pool Party, this pair were very keen to settle back into their little routine:

Eat, drink, frolic, sleep. Eat, drink, skip, sleep.

Life sure is gonna seem tough once they grow up enough to be turned out permanently into the paddock – no need to worry about being chased or having to find food where they currently are.

Summer snoozing…

Any summer snaps (or winter wonderland images) at your place?

Do share in comments.

(I love it when you take the time to say ‘g’day’ here, and invite us all over for a look-see).

🙂

How cute! My favorite winter routine? Strangely, I’m having a wonderful time organizing and tidying my house, and getting ready for the holidays. I have seldom had the time to really do that up right, and it feels great.

It’s 47F here today, usually it is a lot colder. We are in for some rain this weekend or so the weatherman says. Good excuse to stay home and put up the tree.

We are waiting for snow. As much as we complain we miss it. People who make their living at the ski resorts are searching the clouds. Snow plow drivers are enjoying time off but missing big paychecks.

Still it’s always nice to stop by the BB Blog and see the sun is still warming the earth SOMEWHERE.

This is SO cute!!! One of my favorite things this time of year (cold weather) is seeing dogs in the yard curled into tight balls. Funny to see little “poddys” (or would that be poddies?) doing the same!

There is nothing really in the World like “poddies” – calves or lambs.
Even when they grow up and are back with their own kind, you could go out into the paddock and call them and they would respond and come to get a “tickle” on the nose or wherever they liked the “tickle”. I just hope “Bayleaf” will have a great motherhood life, not so sure if young “Horseradish”, the young “mickey”
( at present?) unless he has good genes might go so far. We can but hope – the genes are GREAT!
    Great post BB
    Cheers

I commented the other day but the pixies took me off to another place and I neglected to return. I am like that. I was saying how adorable the image was. I was also saying that this time of year usually sees me in a cleaning frenzy and I empty out cupboards and have a good throw away. Which is not at all in the spirit of your question nor as cute and the sleepy poddies. But there you go.
