Picked up and SOLD OUT!
I had a lovely drivey day today… with four hours of my day devoted to making the trip to pick up the 2013 edition of my calendar.
It’s always a little nerve-wracking (as much for the printers and me I fear) until I actually SEE the finished product and know if what I see on my little screen is reflected properly in the printed version.
This year… it’s FABULOUS.
The colours are good, the finish really nice, the fonts look right and the weight shouldn’t get us into trouble with Australia Post!
I was so relieved!!
(We had to have a second crack at it last year, which was no fun for anyone!).
And as I drove back home (via a grocery store, hardware shop, post office and pub for various essential household items) I had a sudden rush of orders which basically means… the calendar is also SOLD OUT too!
Wow…
I have never sold out this early, and part of me wishes I’d ordered more. But part of me is joyfully embracing the notion that all I have to do now is package and post. Will be getting onto this task on Wednesday (it IS Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow, and we will be getting up to this kind of shenanigans tomorrow).
Please be patient – there is just one of me and a couple of boxes of calendars to send out!
