Explanation: With some coaxing from her mother, this is the Little Woman’s attempt to get her mouth around the name of one of her favourite things in the world (and in mummy’s handbag!). Note the initial l’s are no trouble at all! Strongly suspect the resulting laughter has encouraged the ongoing inability to get her tongue around the last ‘l’!
She also speaks French! But that’s another post…

Thank you for sharing! Oh, the memories! How I remember working with my own kids and pronouncing words. My second child had all kinds of those issues–probably due to ear infections, fluid behind ear drums, etc. Teef (teeth) and so many more I can’t think of just now. But I would sit with her a little each day to overcome the speech difficulties.

There are plenty more of these… I cannot imagine her without her special little impediments at the moment. She possibly won;t think it’s cute that I have saved it for posterity in a few years time! Dash still says “Sit Next Beside me please”… too cute to correct!
