Favourite Things: Filthy Rear View

I snapped this photo as we drove home from our trip last week.
The ingredients are kind of ordinary:
Dusty road.
Blurry green grass.
Peeling old horse float.
Dirty car.
And yet…
This shot makes my heart sing!
I know not why…
Life is just chock full of little mysteries, isn’t it?

I think it’s great when we have those moments in time that sing to us, for whatever reason or for no reason at all. Like you said, “life is just chock full of little mysteries”… and that’s what makes our lives great.

    Thanks for sharing.

Could your heart be singing because you are on a road of your own, the freedom of living happily a life of your own choosing? Maybe?

Hey y’all – I’m not sure why I love this pic. The road is actually a public one, about 5 km from home. I love the red dirt flying behind the horse float. I hate the horse float itself but love the peeling paint (I’m weird like that). But I do feel very sorry for any horses riding in it – very dusty! I love the sky and its poofy clouds. I love the speed of the blurry grass. I guess I like the feeling of movement and home.

    Glad you liked it too!
