Banner banter
I have been messing with my header image – only three days late if I am attempting to do a monthy rollover.
*sigh*
Not sure if you have have noticed, but I have started using the images from my calendar as the appropriate monthly image for the blog? This is the May image from the calendar:
And here is the banner resulting from it:
The calendar page for June:
And the banner which I whipped up last night before bed:
As you can see, it’s a bit of a challenge with the very panoramic demands of the header space to use the EXACT photo. But with a little Photoshop magic, it’s not that hard to come up with something that kinda works.
I plan to add a link to the complete list of Bush Babe banners… what do you think? Would this be of interest to any readers?
Also, is anyone interested in how I make them?

GMTA, I guess because I did a new banner tonight as well. I do them every season rather than every month. This way I don’t put any pressure on myself.

I LOVE your banners, i’m always excited to see the new month’s…sad that it took me this long to figure out that they were matching the calendar that is hanging right next to my computer 🙂 You may recall that June is my birth month and you used one of my very favorite images for June! You must be a physic 😉
And i would love to know how you create them. I need to get more creative with my blog and spice it up a bit. You were blogspot with your old blog eh? Which template did you use?

After experimenting with both your site and my niece’s (since she changed the name of hers within Blogger), I found that by UNjoining (or quit following in the case of hers) then rejoining that I now get your updates in my dashboard.
Whew! That’s one less problem! Now if I can just get your site to quit sending my comments to the spam folder!

Yes, I’d be interested in banners but I can’t use Photoshop yet. I either get another computer or buy a Mac compatible model. Doh.
