Randomness Part Two

More unrelated, un-thought-out randomness from a day in the life of Bush Babe.

As I was walking back from shutting the gate here, I noticed that the prickly pear cactus in the hayshed yard…

I noticed that despite being affected by the cactoblastis moth (with lots of browning, dying ‘leaves’ as telltail signs) this cactus has managed to produce some small fruit.

And I noticed that the sky looked amazingly blue behind it… and that there were little tiny cobwebs ‘holding’ it in place.

So you know what I did?

I shot it!
Randomly.
And then I walked away.
And I wondered if it was time for smoko yet…

Not sure if this is sad…but i’m one of those that appreciate your photo nerd info! And…also one of those who carries her camera in the most unpractical situations…in the yards, in the ute (with two kids on my knees…). Camera bag/nappy bag…most used?? Not sure! Which one is occasionally forgotten…nappy bag! So thanks for your photo nerd info!
