Favourite place, favourite photos
As usual, I am running late.
I have just arrived home from a flying trip to Big Town, taking my niece home and getting the calendar tweaked and ready for printing… I am hoping life slows down SLIGHTLY soon. It’s wonderful to be home – even if it IS incredibly quiet after the chaos of the last few weeks.
As I contemplate some plain rice for dinner (ho hum) and sup a cold chardonnay, I discover (I am so VERY behind on my blog reading due to this little series of events) that the Pioneer Woman has a great assignment on at her place.
The theme is Favourite Photos. And while I have a million shots that I love stashed on this groaning hard drive of mine, there is ONE that always springs to mind. It was taken seven years ago, and sits poster-size on the wall of our living room. It makes my father cringe (belly shots of any kind are just not the done thing in his world – especially of a bloke’s daughter who is glaringly pregnant). And it wasn’t even technically taken by me (my husband actually hit the shutter).
I adore the look on Dash’s face… like: ‘WHOA Mum… what they heck is that thing moving in your tummy?’ and ‘I love you anyway!’
I note that my friend and fellow blogger from Chronicles of a Country Girl has already been announced as a Chosen image in Group Three. Congrats Kate!

Love that shot. However, I’d crop it ever so slighting at the top to get rid of that bit of light area in the corner. Love the expression on Dash’s face! I sent in a couple of photos on a whim, but I can’t even remember which ones! Such is my week…flooding, plumbers, ack…
