Birthday Boy
We snuck away from Granite Glen yesterday afternoon – I planned a mini getaway to fulfil a special wish.
It was awfully cold yesterday (not getting above 10 degrees Celsius) and our planned destination suddenly seemed like a poor choice.
You see, a wish made by today’s Birthday Boy…
This Birthday Boy wanted to spend the whole day with his family.
At our very favourite holiday place, about three hours drive from home.
Yabbying and fishing and watching movies…
I don’t know how many fish they will catch…
But (as always) its the colourful little surprises along the way that make it all worthwhile… that and the fact that the sun has decided to shine. (Thanks to the Big Fella Upstairs!)
To all those wondering when the big party (for celebrating four decades) … well, it’s going to happen later… sometime. Sometime after my husband watches X-Men:The Beginning. And after we build the World’s Greatest Pizza Oven…
Don’t hold your breath (in other words). Use it to say Happy Birthday instead…

Happy Birthday to a fine young man.
We are in Germany this month with our son and family, the weather is a bit different then Florida. It is nice to be outside and the greenery and flowers are beautiful. We are here for our grandsons graduation.
