Anatomy of a Sunset
It has been so busy (with weaning) and then so wet (with rain!) over the past couple of weeks, I haven’t REALLY indulged in a good shoot-for-the-heck-of-it.
Forgive me if I indulge and share some of my series of sunset shots, taken the day before yesterday as I basked in a much-yearned-for sun.
From our back deck, looking through the leaves at the sinking sun…
The sun warming the empty branches of our Flame tree, with moon rising behind.
A shot you may have seen before in previous post, as I walked down towards the river.
Some ducks enjoying the cool, calm water…
Shimmers of sunset reflecting around them…
Mauve clouds to the north…
Fiery-tipped clouds to the west…
Cool, soft, imperfect reflections nearby…
Going…
Going…
Gone!
And back to the deck…
To cook a (quick) dinner for hungry (patient) family!
(Spaghetti Carbonara anyone?)
🙂
