If you have been here anytime much, you’ll know that our daughter Violet is a MAD keen horsewoman…
She loves nothing more than being on her steed Sandy and cantering…except for maybe shiny jewellery.
So when she made a special American friend during Beef 2012, who offered to buy her somethin’ special in the cowgirl and BLING department, she was not backwards in accepting!
The parcel arrived during a fishing expedition… and was opened with great enthusiasm…
It’s PINK!
And it is BLINGY and it FLASHES…
A guaranteed thumbs up from Miss Violet!

What an adorable cowgirl hat for a beautiful little cowgirl!! Well, maybe not little – she’s amazing. I HAVE ridden horses, yes I have! But I’m sure I never cantered or galloped or any other gaity thing other than a walk! Oh, wait – there was that poor horse on Rosarita Beach in Mexico that nearly galloped away with me. My husband (at the time) had to come after me, because the young boys who rented out the horses didn’t bother.
