The Coat of Arms photobomb
Couldn’t resist sharing this small slideshow of images with you…
Despite the plethora of kangaroo and emu photos stacked in my archives, I have FINALLY managed to get BOTH native animals from the Australian Coat of Arms in the one photo!
Here is the series of shots during which this event took place:
Yes, that’s a couple of roos photobombing the emus. Cheeky things.
All snaps taken within about 40 seconds on the way home from a linen party today.
And YES I should be packing. And ironing. And finding our wayward business cards for the bull sale this week.
YES I am off to finish those chores now.
But… you know… BOTH emus AND ‘roos.
Had to share!

I never cease to be entertained by the things you see on an ordinary day. Love the baby emus. 🙂

Wonderful! Thought of you yesterday – I’m finally packing for the long-awaited move to Savannah, GA and just put away the 2 beautiful enlargements you sent me a few years ago! Thank you again. They are among the very few things moving with me – leaving all old crap behind!

I love the little glimpses of your ordinary days…for some reason what captivated me was the idea of linen parties. I googled it and got myself into a Lorraine Lea website. I love riding shotgun in your vehicle headed off to a linen party, and stopping to take in the wonders of your world. You live in a darn cool place.

Girl, you sure do travel a lot. I am setting here in the dark this morning wondering what your lifestyle would have been like 120 years ago. A string of young fast horses a swag and sturdy saddlebags, perhaps. Isn’t it amazing how little it takes to amuse an old man. For that I thank you for starting my day with a shy grin.
