This week has been a very sad one for a blog buddy of mine, the inimitable Jayne…

Jayne lost her fabulous Dad this week – she nursed him right up until he said his final farewells and I reckon that no Dad anywhere could have wished for a better way to go.  With his family right there, patiently doing what needed to be done, with love and humour and care.

Jayne, I hope you don’t mind, but I dug deep into my archives to find this photo – the one you sent to me as the first edition of the Bush Calendar arrived at your place.
