Glorious gloom and signposts
Things are frantically busy here today, but I found a moment on the drive into Dash and Violet’s school this morning. The fabulous wet, heavy fog made it like driving through cotton wool and I steered off the road to press the shutter a couple of times.
Isn’t it amazing how I always seem to find time to do things like THAT, but the beds don’t always seem to get made? No, my priorities are fine, thanks for asking!
People who drive by me on our local roads are starting to get used to a Prado parked randomly along the red gravel as I snatch an image while en route to somewhere.
I wonder what they say, as they drive past my dusty, haphazardly positioned car?
“There’s that freaky Bush Babe – shouldn’t she be doing something constructive?”
“Hey…” (I would say in reply, in our imaginary conversation)
” SOMEONE has to admire all the OTHER construction going on in the world, don’t they?”
Well… don’t they?

Fog is a fascinating factor in softening the view. Thank you for stopping to take pictures of those beautifully crocheted spiderwebs. The moisture on them enhances their natural beauty, naturally . . .
Sorry, it’s late and I’m a little bleary eyed.
Fab shots, BB!

Wouldn’t you say though, that you are constructing tomorrows memories? How would you explain glorious fog if not for the photographic proof???

That sounds like a wonderful way to excuse my abberent attention span Elizabth!! I shall totally trot this line out for the next person complaining about my fickle focus on the mundane… ah, I see Mr Incredible looking my way now!!

Lovely snaps. Thanks for stopping!

I love the spider web photos! I think if people took time to study the intricacies of a spider web and watch one being spun, they would be less freaked out by spiders. Such fascinating creatures.

“Hey, there’s that BushBabe by the side of the road taking awesome photos again.”
As always, you are inspiring!

Oh, love the pics! Spider webs are so cool when it’s foggy out! Great shots! Glad you stop! I always think about it, but never do. 🙁

Love the spiderwebs!

Awesome pictures, as per usual.
I’m trying to remember to bring my camera when going out, ’cause I ALWAYS see some thing that would make a great picture.
And my beds never get made either.
Why bother? They’re just going to be messed up in another couple of hours anyway;p

Thank you! I’m so glad you risked your life to pull off haphazardly on the side of the road! I do love fog and spiderwebs, and the 2 together are exquisite.

Well, here’s the deal…when you stop to admire some little thing, the best part is that we get to admire it too. Thanks for that.
Imaginary conversation with confused Oz folks wondering what BB is up to now. “Hey! If you’re looking for something to do, you can head over to BB’s place and make a few beds. Get going now. Chop, chop!”
