Joy…
My second offering for the Happiness Assignment at PW’s place…
The original post is here (although for some reason, I did not use this particular shot).
My two are so used to the camera that there is no shyness when they have their photo taken. I was trying to get a ‘normal’ snap to hand out at Christmas time, but they had had such a blast playing together in the hay shed that they were a bit out of control when I tried to tie them down for couple of ‘posed’ shots. Seconds after this photo was shot, they were bounding back up the stacked bales squealing with glee.
Have you checked out the array of awesome talent on show for this assignment yet – I cannot get enough of the joy in the shots for this humongous (happy) selection of images.

Photo stats – the date from camera says 2002 but it is wrong (something was messed up with the trusty old Nikon D100 at the time) and this was taken in July 2008. (What a difference two years makes!) Shutter speed: 1/90 sec, apeture: f5.6, focal length: 120mm.

i forgot to mention that i like both of your happiness entries. love the food messy face and green bling bandana of the kiddos and what’s not to feel happy about looking at a daddy smiling so happily and lovingly at his babies?!

I am so glad that Mr I’s shot made the pick!!!!!! But this photo of your kids,,,,,,I would rather receive this photo in my Christmas card than a formal shot. Such joy and childish impishness 😉
