Well, aren’t you all the funny ones?
Man, I was clever getting you to find your funny bones for this week’s giveaway… who knew kangaroos could inspire so much humour?
With over 20 entries, I had a really tough time narrowing it down to one…
And putting the entries into the word bubble to judge the final effect actually made it much harder…
This one (from Bill) cracked me right up.
I think it must be a female roo…

Clearly a MALE then?
(There seemed to be a bit of theme here where female commentators assumed the roo was male and vice versa)
And of course, there was the patently ridiculous quote (from the lovely Marion)…
Some serious hopping needs to go on to find a Wal-Mart (I hope this roo can swim!).
A great festive-themed entry (from Barbara) made me grin big…
And then this one (also from Barbara who was on a roll) was so outrageously left of centre that I couldn’t leave it be…

Honestly, every entry made me laugh and smile each time I re-read them.
And I NEEDED the happy hormones this week. It’s been a big one with travelling, lots of bookwork, an injured jackaroo, packaging and posting off a hundred or so calendars and feeding livestock and humans. Not to mention washing machines throwing it in, coinciding perfectly with rain (and a mountain of muddy clothes) finally arriving. I’m a bit knackered!
Please note that the 2012 BB calendar is pretty much sold out. I KNOW, right? Amazing!
Thanks to all for your kind support – by buying them, or telling other people about them through blog buttons etc. You guys are the bomb. Couldn’t do it without you.

BB…my postie delivered a package for me today.
Inside was 3 of the most beautiful calendars I have ever seen. They are just gorgeous and the quality is outstanding. Not to mention the amazing photos.
I am so proud to be sending one of them to Ohio this Christmas. Your calendar will soon be hanging in a General Store in the countryside…and knowing my dear friends customers, it will be looked at and admired by all who shop there…just like the stuffed Kangaroo I sent her years ago. He stands proudly in the window and a couple of the ladies who shop there even make him seasonal outfits. So I think there will be a few more readers to my favourite blog now.
